Ross's interest in racing started from a young age from when he went to school on the Epsom Downs and would rarely miss an afternoon at the races. His Head teacher remarked he should focus on studying anything apart from the horse's form! From as early thirteen years old he dreamt about one day having a runner in the Derby.
Johnno set up JSC in January 2004 and remains its Managing Director. JSC has quickly established a reputation as one of the most creative and reputable agencies in the sports and consumer PR industry with a wide variety of clients.
Johnno started his career at Craigie Taylor International (now Brand Rapport) as a PR Executive where his first clients included Vodafone and The Famous Grouse.
After two years, Johnno was promoted to an Account Director and started to focus on horse racing accounts, working specifically on the PR for Jockey Club Racecourses such as Sandown Park and Epsom Downs, venue for The Epsom Derby.
Andrew's interest in horse racing started at Durham University when he was often found in the bookies rather than the library! Having owned horses for over 10 years his finest moment came when Jim Crowley swept late to win The Cambridgeshire Handicap at Newmarket on Credit Swap. Sadly, due to business commitments hosting clients at The Ryder Cup, Andrew was not there and was only able to listen to the race on his mobile phone!!
Former world number one golfer and regular Ryder Cup player, Lee is a keen horse racing enthusiast and is delighted to be a founding member of a sport he is passionate about. Born and bred in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, Lee was presented with Honorary degree of Doctor of Science on November 24, 2007 from Nottingham Trent University. He is also a keen fan of local football team Nottingham Forest.
Champion Jockey and winner of more than 500 Group Races. His most celebrated achievement was riding all seven winners on British Champions' Day at Ascot in 1996. Most recently Frankie rode Golden Horn to victory at the Epsom Derby.
Andrew "Chubby" Chandler a former European Tour golfer founded ISM in 1989, including golf clients and fellow owners, Louis Oosterhuizen, Ryder Cup Captain Darren Clarke and former World number one Lee Westwood. Chubby and Lee have owned many successful horses together including Stewards Cup winner Hoof It and Dubai Duty Free Stake Group 1 horse Right Approach.
